Headset

Suggest anything a minifig can wear

Headset

It fits over the stud on a minifig's head. I don't know how strong this would be (especially the mic), so maybe Will could craft it out of rubber to make it more durable.

Nice concept you got going there, but some people like me may want to put a helmet or something similar on the minifig AS WELL as the headset. So how would this work?

I think TLC makes enough minifigure heads with painted on them to keep you covered

They aren't very noticable. A 3-D headset would look much better.

^^Maybe there could be two variations, one that fits over the stud on a minifig's head and one that fits on an MCH (don't ask me how).

On FBTB's Flickr account, they released pictures of Summer 2013 sets from a Toy Fair. In set 60021, Cargo Helicopter, ( which coincidentally is a V-22 Osprey-type chopper ) and a few other Coast Guard sets have a headset minus the mic. By the way it's designed, it seems that the minifigure must have a cap on or else it's too big. The detailing on it is amazing, however.

Hmm... I wonder if it can fit over any other head-piece? Hey maybe they'll bring back Pepper! I miss him, along with Johnny Thunder too...

If you check out the other city set photos from the NYC Toy Fair, you'll see that the headset attaches via a small hole on the top of the cap. So I imagine the initial compatibility will be pretty limited, but some modding could add a hole to existing g headgear.

Uhh... all well, if Will wants to make his own headset it should be able to just clip on to the headpiece (depending on which headpiece), no Pepper, or Johnny?

I like the idea, but why not fit it on to the neck bar on a minifig? That way, you can have both a hat and the headset.

Would that include the mike piece?
