Cowboy Hat

Suggest anything a minifig can wear

Cowboy Hat

Postby jonwil » Thu May 03, 2012 9:28 am

LEGO makes a Cowboy Hat but it is not very detailed/good (and it hasn't been made since 2003). LEGO also makes a Fedora (which they have used on several Western figs in the Collectable Minifigures series) but which isn't really the right hat for a Cowboy.
A proper Cowboy Hat like this

would be great and would go great with the wild-west era weapons BA has made and prototyped.

Done right, it could also potentially fit for the hat this guy is wearing:

I wouldn't mind seeing this. The old lego one is horrible, and their Fedora ain't great for cowboys.

I agree, the TLC one leaves something to be desired...

Lego's cowboy hats aren't very cowboy like, and i'm pretty sure they are out of production. The fedora is a horrible stand in for a cowboy hat. I think Will should make this.

I agree, lego is lacking some detail. I would love to see this made.

If this gets made, I'm going to do an MOC of this famous, awesome, classic movie scene.

IKR? It's so ridiculous.

When I watched that part of the movie for the first time I laughed for a full minute and a half.

I declare once again that it would be the first MOC I'd make using the cowboy hat if it came out.

Yes, and TLG covers a few of them. Plus, there is only a few diferences between some of those, like height or width.

So... why not a fictional one, like Woody's, or the Gunstringer's.
