MJOLNIR Helmet and Armor Variants (Halo)

If think about Will is introducing more weapons from the Halo series, so why not add this, and other MJOLNIR armor components to that innovatory to go with these weapons, and I think Brickarms should have a version of this Sci-Fi armor.

This is a great idea! But maybe Mark VI instead of Mark V?
I just think that it would look a little bit better.

That may be, but Will is more interested in what the community as a whole wants to see from him, not just what one guy wants to see from him.

Spartan Recon Helmet (HALO)

my favorite helmet.
A CNN reporter, while interviewing a marine sniper, asked. "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist"?
The marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil"

This is my helmet, and i'd love to see it, but making it might prove difficult. this is a real icon of the halo fanbase. might run into a problem with 343 and bungie.

I could see more detailed version if Will made it, but why not Master Chief's Modified armor appearing in Halo 4?

If people would like the Mark IV, how about this variant:

I know that its Master Chief, but it looks more better than the Halo Wars variant.

Ok. Here are the armor permutations featured in Halo 3:

Hayabusa

CQB

EVA

EOD

Security

Scout

Rogue

Recon

That about wraps it up. Sorry about all the links, the images were too large to embed.

Since ODST is extra content for Halo 3, I think the Orbital Drop Shock Trooper armor should be put in the list as well. Sorry I can't do it right now, I'm using my phone.

LOL, since people are probably going to say something about the Halo Reach armors, here they are *sigh*

Mark V(B)

Grenadier

Commando

CQC

Military Police

HAZOP

AA

Operator

JFO

GUNGNIR

If you noticed, I didn't post any of the armors that were featured in both Halo 3 and Halo Reach, since they're both practically identical. And I couldn't find a good picture of the Pilot armor.

This may come down to personal preference, but I would not like this. Firstly,it barely has any other use apart from halo. Secondly, the focus has been on halo for way too long. I think it should be more on doctor who or star wars.

For one, you opinion is extremely biased, and secondly, you can use ANY BA product for ANYTHING. It's your choice not to use Halo armor for anything else.

A SWAT officer would look ridiculous with a broadsword too, but that's not because of having too many melee weapons.

I have never played HALO, or really know much about it at all, but I've been able to find uses for a lot of the weaponry, and am looking forward to the recent HALO prototypes moving forward explicitly because they have have more of a non-HALO specific appeal.

You can use Halo weapons for other Sci-Fi things. I do. There is no Halo overload, there is nothing wrong with having the Halo weapon collection in BA, it is extremely useful for anything that has to do with Sci-Fi. Someone back me up here

I'd have to agree with you. It's quite biased, and it seems from the view of a modern/non-Halo builder, but remember that you can use your imagination with BrickArms and Legos. How has the focus been on Halo for too long? That's like saying the focus has been on Modern for too long! Plus, we haven't had a new Halo-based/inspired prototype in over three months! I personally, don't watch Doctor Who, but it doesn't sound like a show that would feature any type of weapons, and as for Star Wars, there are a number of Star Wars-based prototypes, so I could just as easily say that the focus has been on Star Wars for too long.

MOD - Builders can and should use BrickArms accessories however they'd like to in their building, regardless of what may or may not have inspired them.

With that said, please focus all posts on the suggestion of BrickArms Mjolnir-inspired armor

I'd personally stick to just the one version with the standard helmet (the one worn by Master Chief), since it is the most representative and recognizable design for Halo and non-Halo fans.

Re: MJOLNIR Helmet and Armor Variants (Halo)

Postby Mike1911 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 12:13 pm

If I had to choose one armor component, the standard Mark V from the first Halo game for four reasons:

1. While there might be a third company that may or may not produce something similar of the Mark VI (maybe ODST), they do not produce the Mark V helmet and armor that I can tell from.

2. I'm pretty sure that somewhere there is a Lego customizer out there, who would love to make a Caboose minifig (as of the present episode of Red vs Blue he is still wearing the Mark V helmet).

3. I would like to see the armor components be part of Brickarms because Will has already designed weapons from the Halo series, and it seems fitting to have a couple of armor components to go along with the weapons (and I am aware that there is a suggestion for UNSC Marine helmet, but that's another thread).

4. Master Chief did at one point (or two including the Anniversary) wear, and utilize the Mark V.

I feel I might be over explaining why the Mark V should be produced, but that's just my opinion on the subject, and it is really one of a many sets of MJOLNIR armor, and I'm pretty sure that choosing one would be difficult, but that's not my place to say.

No offense or anything, but the EOD armor kinda looks like the Stormtrooper armor from Star Wars.

Ok I get your point, but did you double respond, one is good enough, and I would really love to see the Mark V be produced cause Will has the weapons for Halo figs, and the EOD kinda does look like a Storm trooper would wear, and Will has been prototyping Star Wars weapons, I feel they both might get designed, but that's Will's department.

Halo Hayabusa Armor

Postby Overlord 77 » Sat Nov 24, 2012 5:26 pm

The complete Hayabusa armor is acheived by collecting all 13 Skulls in Halo 3. I've heard that the armor was based off armor from a Ninja Gaiden game.

The main focus is of the MJOLNIR Armor in that topic. At least, Badger said that. This topic is for those who want to focus on the Hayabusa Armor.

Given recent events, I don't think Bungie would care, but 343 is somebody Will
would have to talk to, but let's just focus on this, OK? I really love the shape. Awesome!
