M202 FLASH Rocket Launcher

Postby Recon » Tue Aug 23, 2011 9:08 pm

The M202 FLASH (Flame Assault Shoulder Weapon) is an American rocket launcher, designed to replace the World War II-vintage flamethrowers (such as the M1 and the M2) that remained the military's standard incendiary devices well into the 1960s. The M202 is based on the prototype XM191 napalm rocket launcher that saw extensive testing in the Vietnam War.

Possibly the 4 tubes on the back could be removable??

Arnie's expression is LOL.

However, I'm concerned with the size of the accessory, as well as the rocket ports (hollows are perpendicular to clamshell mold parting plane). Otherwise, I agree that should this be considered for adaptation into a BrickArms accessory, the clip of rockets should be removable.

oooh, fatdad3.2, you're so eeeeeevil. JK! I love getting this on BO (yes ha ha) and it would be a great lineup in launchers in BA! We need more launchers from 'nam anyway, to correspond with the new M16 and China Lake (M97)

It isn't called the M97. It is called the M79. Oh, and as for the M202, I'm not to keen on seeing this. It just looks to bulky.

Ahnuld's facial expression is HILARIOUS!!!! Sorry.

Anyway, this more like something that should be brick-built. It could just look too big. Note I said: Could.

This would be pretty great, but I can't imagine it without it being over-molded.

Couldn't you just use an M6 rocket?

Just saw that movie a few days ago. Back on topic, I would like this as a brickarm. The MAAWS rockets could fit in the holes. Though just enough that the back shows.

This looks epic, a minifig can definitely hold it. Maybe the rocket tube-things in the back can be detachable.
